One girl, two civilians injured during Army operation

Guwahati, Nov 08 (UNI) One minor girl was shot dead and two civilians were injured in an Army operation near Pengeri in Tinsukia district today.

Accoridng to official sources, the incident occurred at Mohan Gaon under Pengeri police station when the jawans of the 19 Kumaon regiment carried out the operation.

Meanwhile, the Army had intensified its operation throughout the state after the authorities decided to step up the pressure.
