Official urges students to ascertain bonafide of Institutions

Puducherry, Nov 8(UNI) G Ragesh Chandra, Director, School Education today urged the candidates joining the Pre-primary School Teachers Training Centres in Puducherry and Karaikal regions to assertain whether the Institutions had the statuatory approval from the Government or from the Directorate of Government examinations, Chennai and the Bangalore-based National Council for Technical Education.

In a release here, he said the Government had informations that some institutions were conducting classes, without recognition or approval by the authorities in Puducherry and Karaikal region.

Mr Chandra said neither the Council in Bangalore, nor the Directorate of School Education in Puducherry have received applications from the Institutions during the current accademic year, hence the diplomas issued by these institutions would not be recognised.

The students should not to be hoodwinked by such training centres, the release added.
