MLR Project to come up in 2007-08 railway budget

Tirupati, Nov 8 (UNI) To expand Carriage Repair Workshop (CRS) near Renigunta here, a Mid Life Rehabilatation (MLR) project will come up by allocation of 275 crore in 2007-08 railway budget, South Central Railways (SCR) General Manager D N Mathur said here today.

He said the railway board had already approved the project and under this bogies would be modernised.

The Reniguta CRS was recognised as best in Indian Railway, he added.

Later, he distributed 3 cash prize awards to the best employees, working in CRS.
