Maharashtra team for Ranji tie against Hyderabad announced
Pune, Nov 8 (UNI) Sairaj Bahutule-led Maharashtra will be without the services of seamer Munaf Patel in their four-day ''Elite Group'' league engagement against Hyderabad at Karad from November 23 to 25.
Coach Chandrakant Pandit has been entrusted the task of putting the State Ranji and Under-19 teams through their paces, replacing Australian Darren Holder.
Maharashtra Cricket Association president Ajay Shirke, while announcing the 13-member squad here today, said the absence of ace seamer Munaf Patel, who has been selected in the India team for the South Africa tour, will be missed.
Following is the team: Sairaj Bahutule (Capt), Dheeraj Jadhav, Hrishikesh Kanitkar, S Sriram, H Khadiwale, Nikhil Pradkar, Rohit Jadhav, Suyesh Burkul, Anupam Sanklecha, Rajendra Patkar, Aditya Dole, Satyajit Satbhai (WK), Yogesh Takawale. Pandurang Salgaonkar is the manager and Chandrakant Pandit the coach.
