Belgaum airport records lowest temp of 15.8 degree celsius

Bangalore, Nov 8 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded here at 0830 hours today.

The rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

The heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Basavana Bagewadi 7. Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Deverahippargi, Alur, Hassan 6 each; Sindagi, Afzalpur, shahpur, Deodurg 5 each; Sakleshpura 4; Raibagh, Indi, Alland, Jeewargi, Yadgir, Kalasa 2 each.

Minimum temperatures fell at many places over North Interior Karnataka; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were normal over the State.

Belgaum Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15.8 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning : Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers forecast : Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Kolar, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Bellary, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Tumkur districts and at a few places over remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast for Bangalore city : Generally cloudy.

Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Minimum temperature would be around 20 degree Celsius.
