Universities from Punjab impress in inter-varsities kho kho

Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 7 (UNI) Universities from Punjab and Haryana prevailed over their opponents today in the North East Zone Inter University Kho Kho championship for men being held at Lincoln College of Law, Sirhind.

Panjab University, Chandigarh defeated Allahabad University 18-4 while Kurukshetra University beat HP University, Shimla 16-7.

In other matches of the day Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar beat Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar 13-10 while Punjabi University, Patiala defeated Delhi University 10-9.

In yet another match Panjab University, Chandigarh beat Calcutta University, Kolkata 19-16.
