Rain dampens hopes of farmers
Imphal, Nov 7: Heavy rain since last night destroyed standing crops the harvesting season in many parts of Manipur, official sources said today.
Some farmers said they will have to wait for the land to dry up to continue next harvesting . MET officials said about 13.2 mm of rainfall was recorded today and there was possibility of more rainfall.
The max temperature recorded was 29.3 degree Celsius while the minimum was around 15.9 degree Celsius. About 98 per cent humidity was recorded today.
