New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) The Congress today had a field day in the Assembly with the entire Opposition expelled within first ten minutes of the House gathering for the day.

Even as leader of Opposition Jagdish Mukhi tabled on adjournment motion in view of today's 'bandh' call by traders on the sealing issue, and BJP members raised slogans against 'government inaction', Minister of Education Arvinder Singh Lovely proposed a motion on their expulsion and Speaker Prem Singh obliged them in the same breath.

The whole exercise, which was over within ten minutes of the House assembling for the day, saw BJP members gathering in the well of the House to protest the ''arbitrary step'' of them being expelled for the rest of the session for ''mere protesting''.

Mr Mukhi later told reporters that it was a pre-planned move of the Congress as Ms Dikshit was to face ''our notice of breach of privilege and contempt of the House under Rule 66'' today.

''During the last session the report for the Delhi Public Accounts Committee on privatisation of Delhi Vidyut Board was unanimously adopted, which directed the Delhi Government to send the case for investigation to the CBI and an action taken report be submitted in three months. But till date the Delhi government has not sent the case to the CBI which amounted to breach of privilege and contempt of the House.'' The government was unable to face its 'own misdeeds' and hence resorted to expelling opposition members again and again. ''It had earlier too expelled BJP members last Wednesday for three days,'' he said adding the CM should resign on moral grounds because of her inability to provide any relief to the sealing affected.
