Mobile Hutch Shop launched in Kerala

Kochi, Nov 7 (UNI) To provide greater convenience to its growing customer base in Kerala, Hutch, India's leading telecom service providers, today launched the state's first 'Mobile Hutch Shop'.

Talking to media here, Operations Director Samuel Selvakumar said, 'In keeping with the growth of our customer base in the last ten months, this trendy mobile shop with service desks and value-added service (VAS) experience was the next step in reaching customers at their convenience across the city.' Presently, the service would be available for this district but later would be expanded to Kozhikode in the next six months and to Thiruvananthapuram.

The mobile shop with a predefined route plan would provide services, through three desks, like activation of postpaid connections, sale of prepaid SIM cards and recharge coupons, activation and deactivation of services.

The shop would also have facilities for payment of phone bills, customer query resolution and information on VAS, he added.

The route and stop-overs of the shop would be initimated to customers either through SMS or pamphlets.

Hutch provides service to around 1.5 crore people through networks in 560 towns in the state.
