Allahabad, Nov 7 (UNI) Allahabad High Court today directed Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad not to finalise the examination centres under the self-examination centre scheme for high school and intermediate examination 2007.

The order was passed by Justice S N Srivastava hearing a writ petition filed by committee of management, Mohan Singh Inter College, Mathura.

The college moved the court challenging an order of the Parishad, by which the college was delisted from self examination centre.

Earlier, by means of order of November 1, 2006, the court had asked the state government to show cause, why new system of examination centre may not be replaced by old examination scheme.

The court was of the view that because of self examination centre at the same college, mass copying has become a business enterprises in UP.
