CBI inquiry in Khairlanji massacre if needed: Patil
Mumbai, Nov 7 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil today assured that if investigations into the massacre of a dalit family at Khairlanji in Bhandara did not progress satisfactorily, it would be handed over to the CBI.
Mr Patil gave the assurance to a delegation, led by Republican Party of India MP Ramdas Athavale, which called unpon him today.
He also assured that the judiciary would be requested to set up a fast track court to hear the case on a priority basis.
