Veteran freedom fighter honoured

Bhopal, Nov 4 (UNI) Veteran freedom fighter and Padma Bhushan Shashi Bhushan was today honoured with the Shahid Asif Shahmiri Rashtriya Samman.

The award was conferred by the Madhya Pradesh Swatantrata Senani Uttaradhikari Sangathan at a programme organised here.

On the occasion, the former MP said it was an honour not only for him but also for the Madhya Pradesh's denizens, who believed that national unity was their goal.
