Tech Madhu surrenders in AP

Warangal, Nov 4: Tech Madhu alias Srinivas Reddy, main accused in the rocket launcher case, and his wife Sudharani surrendered before Warangal Range DIG Ravi Gupta and SP Soumya Mishra today.

Tech Madhu was the brain behind the manufacture of rocket launchers for CPI (Maoist) extremists in Chennai and their transport to Andhra Pradesh from Tamil Nadu.

Earlier reports had said the duo surrendered before Gudur police on October 27, but the latter and the state Director General of Police denied this. They were produced before the press today.

Madhu went underground in 1986 and became a technical adviser to Maoists. He spent his time in the Nallamala forests and married Sudharani in 2003. The same year the couple shifted to Chennai.
