SWR changes timings, pattern of some trains

Bangalore, Nov 4 (UNI) The South Western Railways (SWR) has changed the timings and pattern of service of certain trains in the section with effect from December one.

Bangalore City-New Delhi Karnataka Express would leave here at 1920 hrs instead of 1840 hrs and arrive in New Delhi at 1035 hrs instead of 11.55 hrs. On the return direction, it would leave New Delhi at 2115 hrs and arrive in Bangalore City at 1340 hrs, a SWR release here said today.

Train no 2649/2650 Yesvantpur-Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express would leave Yesvantpur at 2220 hrs instead of 2330 hrs on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and arrive at Nizamuddin at 0930 hrs on the second day instead of 1305 hrs. On the return direction, the train would leave Nizamuddin at 0640 hrs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and reach its destination at 1910 hrs instead of 2000 hrs.

Train no.2629/2630 Yesvantpur-Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express would leave Yesvantpur at 1335 hrs instead of 2005 hrs on Tuesdays and Thursdays and arrive in Nizamuddin at 0930 hrs instead of 1705 hrs on Thursdays and Fridays. In the return journey, the train would leave Nizamuddin at 0855 hrs instead of 0940 hrs on Wednesdays and Fridays and arrive at Yesvantpur at 0640 hrs instead of 0745 hrs on Fridays and Sundays, the release said.

The Mysore-Jaipur-Mysore Express would be converted into superfast and renumbered as 2975/2976 and diverted via Yesvantpur and Yelahanka instead of Bangalore Cantonment. The train would now leave Mysore at 1015 hrs instead of 0730 hrs on Thursdays and Saturdays and reach Jaipur at 1305 hrs instead of 1100 hrs on Saturdays and Mondays. On the return direction, the train would leave Jaipur at 1940 hrs on Mondays and Wednesdays and reach its destination at 1610 hrs instead of 2030 hrs on Wednesdays and Fridays, the release said.

The Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore weekend express would be converted into super fast and renumbered as 2692/2691. It would now leave Bangalore at 2300 hrs instead of 2130 hrs on Sundays and arrive in Chennai at 0525 hrs instead of 0355 hrs on Mondays. On the return direction, it would leave Chennai on Fridays at 2330 hrs and arrive here at 0555 hrs the next day, the release said.

Train no.6217/6218 Mysore-Nizamuddin-Mysore Swarna Jayanti Express would also be converted into a superfast express. It would leave Mysore at 2010 hrs on Fridays and arrive at Nizamuddin at 1705 hrs instead of 1855 hrs on Sundays. On the return direction, it would leave Nizamuddin at 0600 hrs instead of 0550 hrs on Mondays and arrive in Mysore at 0500 hrs instead of 0620 hrs on Wednesdays, the release added.
