Sania confident of good show in Hopman Cup

Hyderabad, Nov 4 (UNI) Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza today expressed confidence that she, along with Leander Paes will put up a good performance before the home crowd in the Hopman Cup 2006 here and also in the Asian Games in Doha in December.

After a lay off during the holy month of Ramzan, she has started training hard regain form.

Talking to newspersons here, Sania declared she was in good shope. ''No player will be 100 per cent fit and I am pretty good,'' she added.

She said it is good that the Hopman Cup was being conducted in India, especially at Hyderabad. ''I have played with Leander Paes four years ago at Busan Asian Games where we won the bronze medal in the mixed double, and we are playing together after four years.'' Top six Asian countries, China, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Uzbekistan and host India will take part in the mixed double events.
