One killed, 15 injured in group clash

Banka, Bihar, Nov 4 (UNI) One person was killed and 15 others, including five women, were injured in a clash between two rival groups at Dudhiatari village under Town police station in Banka district today.

Police superintendent D N Gupta said the incident occurred when rival groups claimed right over harvesting standing crops on certain plots of land.

Those who sustained minor injuries were admitted to local hospital while seven people were referred to Bhagalpur Medical College Hospital for treatment, he added.
