Nagamangala receives 6 cm rain

Bangalore, Nov 4 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Nagamangala 6; Magadi, Ramanagara 5; Maddur, Kanakapura, Thondebhavi 4 each; Arkalgud, Malavalli, Doddaballapura, Koratagere, Chamarajnagara 3 each; C.R.Patna, T.Narsipura, Nelamanagala, Bangalore AP 2 each.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Chitradurga recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18.4 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Light to moderate Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over South Interior Karnataka; at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over Kodagu, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Kolar, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Bellary, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Tumkur districts; at a few places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bidar, Bijapur, Bagalkote, Gulbarga, Raichur, Koppal, districts and at isolated places over remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Generally cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely. Minimum temperature would be around 20 degree Celsius.
