Man shot dead by PULF cadres

Imphal, Nov 4 (UNI) The suspected People's United Liberation Front (PULF) cadres shot dead a man here late last night.

The bullet ridden body of the deceased was brought to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences for a post-mortem, police official sources said today.

However, taking the responsibilty of the killing PULF cadres said they have awarded the deceased capital punishment for running away with two AK-56 Rifles on October 13.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident suspected Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) cadres have shot two persons for allegedly extorting money in the name of the outfit.
