K'taka to implement Judicial Pay Commission recommendations soon

Bangalore, Nov 4 (UNI) The Karnataka Government will soon implement the recommendations of the State Judicial Pay Commission, Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa announced today.

Speaking at the 13th State level Karnataka Judicial officers conference here, he said the Justice Jagannath Shetty Judicial Pay Commission had submitted its report to the State Government.

Mr Yediyurappa, who also holds the Finance portfolio, said the Government was always pro-active in extending all cooperation to the judiciary in discharging its duties.

The announcement was received with applause from the judicial officers, attending the conference in large numbers.
