Karunanidhi condoles death of Saroja

Chennai, Nov 4 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today condoled the death of yesteryear E V Saroja, who died here last evening.

Expressing shock and grief over the death, Mr Karunanidhi, who also hailed from the film industry, said the renowned danseuse and actress was his close family friend.

Recalling Saroja's presence in the dance festival of his great grand daughter held here on October 27, Mr Karunanidhi said he never thought he would be condoling her death so soon.

He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Saroja's brothers and daughter.
