Five members of family killed in road accident

Bulandshahr, Nov 4 (UNI) At least five people were killed and five others sustained injuries, when a jeep in which they were travelling collided head-on with a tanker on the Delhi-Aligarh national highway here this morning.

Police said the ill-fated jeep was carrying family members of Brahma Singh for Govardhan Parikarma, when the accident occured near Mirpur village, about 6 kilometers from the city.

The deceased were identified as Brahma Singh, Bhanupratap, Neelam, Sunil Kumar and the jeep driver Mukesh.

Critically injured Arun and his wife Anita along with Vikas, Veer Singh and Satish have been admitted to a hospital in New Delhi.
