England's Mandy Kennedy for State Open Squash
Mumbai, Nov 4 (UNI) Squash aficionados are in for a special treat as the six-day 31st Bombay Gymkhana Maharashtra State Open Squash Championship begins here tomorrow.
Among the leading players in the country to feature in the tournament are Gaurav Nandrajog of Delhi, Shakti Singh, Vikas Jangra, Supreet Singh and a strong contingent from Chennai that includes A Parthiban and Harinderpal Singh.
Mandy Kennedy of England, who recently bagged the women's title in the Otters Open, will be challenged by the Bombay Gymkhana's Madhura Paranjpe in the ladies section.
Being hosted and organised by the Bombay Gymkhana, the championship is being held under the aegis of the Squash Rackets Federation of India and the Squash Rackets Association of Maharashtra.
