EC asks Jharkhand govt to cancel Palamu Commissioner's transfer

Ranchi, Nov 4 (UNI) Following Election Commission's direction, Jharkhand government today cancelled Palamu Commissioner K K Khandelwal's transfer order and gave him the additional charge of Commissioner, North Chhotanagpur.

In another order, Secretary of Health and Family Planning N N Pandey has been given the additional charge of forest and environment department. Mines secretary S K Satpathi would also shoulder the responsibility of Industry department.

R S Poddar, who had been given the additional charge of Palamu, would remain the Commissioner of South Chhotanagpur.
