Comm set up for renewable energy proj above 5 MWs

Chandigarh, Nov 4: The Haryana Government has constituted a high powered committee under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Prem Prashant, which will be empowered to sanction renewable energy projects above five MWs.

Secretaries of Finance, Local Bodies, Power, Irrigation, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Industry, Town and Country Planning, Environment and Forests Departments will be the members of the committee.

The Director, Renewable Energy Department, will be the member secretary of this committee.
