Belgium PM calls on TN Governor

Chennai, Nov 4 (UNI) Belgium Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt today called on Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala at the Raj Bhavan here.

Mr Verhofstadt was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Didier Reynders and other delegates.

The Governor hosted a dinner in the honour of the visiting dignitary, a press release from Raj Bhavan tonight said.

Union Minister of State for Law and Justice K Venkatapathy, State Ministers Arcot N Veerasamy, N Selvaraj, Madras High Court Chief Justice A P Shah, Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali and senior government and police officials were also present.
