Avani, Prashant tie the nupital knot

Mumbai, Nov 4 (UNI) Avani Patel, daughter of Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, tied the nupital knot with Prashant, son of Karnataka Congress leader R V Deshpande, here today.

The marriage was solemnised under both Maharashtrian and Kannada rituals.

Former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, industrialists Mukesh and Anil Ambani and a large number of other prominent personalities were present for the marriage function.

Avani, the eldest of four siblings, is an architect by profession while Prashant is a corporate lawyer.
