Aerial survey for fair bypoll in Koderma
Giridih, Nov 04 (UNI) The Jharkhand government has decided to conduct an aerial survey during the byelection to Koderma parliamentary seat slated to be held on November 6 for free and fair polling.
Deputy Commissioner of Giridih and District Electoral Officer Vinay Kumar Ambastha today said, ''Helicopters would be on vigil in the area from tomorrow. The entire constituency has been divided into three zones.'' Mr Ambashtha said special arrangements have been made to check infiltration from bordering districts and the administration of those districts have also been requested to be cautious.
He said 231 mobile units, each with an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), have been formed for smooth running of voting.
About 27 companies of paramilitary forces, seven companies of JAP and sixty companies of district police have been deployed for free and fair poll.
