6 members of family killed in mishap

Bulandshahr, Nov 4: At least six people were killed and four others sustained serious injuries when a jeep in which they were travelling collided head-on with a tanker on the Delhi-Aligarh national highway here today.

Superintendent of Police Pyush Srivastava said the mishap occured near Mirpur village, about 6 kilometers from the city, when the jeep, which was carrying the family members of Brahma Singh for the Govardhan Parikarma.

Later, the deceased were identified as Brahma Singh, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Neelam, Sunil Kumar, Vikas Tomar and the jeep driver Mukesh.

Critically injured Arun (36) and his wife Anita (32), Veer Singh Tomar (40) and Satish Maheshvari have been admitted to a hospital in New Delhi.
