Turnaround in KLTL Q2 results, net profit Rs 1.47 cr

Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Krishna Lifestyle Technologies Limited (KLTL), a Navin Kumar Tayal Enterprise, has posted a net profit of Rs 1.47 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006, against a loss of Rs 4.36 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company has reported an increase of 171.87 per cent in its net sales at Rs 110.75 crore during the second quarter as against the net sales of Rs 40.74 crore during the previous corresponding quarter, a company's release issued here today said.

The company has registered an impressive growth in its net profit in the first six months of this fiscal at Rs 2.62 crore against a loss of Rs 5.41 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Talking about the turnaround of the company, the KLTL Chairman, Navin Kumar Tayal, said, 'After some years in red, the company is once again on a sound financial footing. With the world textile market wide open, the company's future looks excellent.' UNI KKD MJ AW1614
