Siblings sentenced to life in prison in murder case

Patna, Nov 3 (UNI) A fast track court of Patna today awarded life imprisonment to three siblings in a murder case.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 2000 each on the convicts.

Fast track court judge of Patna Omprakash found three brothers Rajdev Yadav, Munna Yadav and Tunna Yadav guilty of committing the murder of Arjun Rai.

According to the charges, victim Arjun Rai succumbed to injuries inflicted by the convicts under Gaurichak police station of Patna district on May 21, 1996.

Motive behind the killing was said to be fiscal dispute.
