SC dismisses petition by Radio Midday West
New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) The Supreme Court today dismissed the petition filed by Radio Midday West (India Limited) seeking to retain a frequency of 92.5 mhz in Mumbai, even though they already have 94.3 mhz frequency in four other states, and 95 in Ahmedabad.
''Bench comprising Justices B N Aggarwal and T P Naolekar dismissed the petition after hearing Manali Singhal, Counsel for Adlabs Films Limited who contended that her clients were going to start new FM channel called Big FM. Adlabs has licence for 45 cities including Mumbai and Delhi and they were having 92.7 in Mumbai.
The appeal was filed against TDSAT Tribunal dismissing the petition of Radio Midday.
