Sarathi condemns Big B's remarks

Pune, Nov 3 (UNI) A city-based social organisation today condemned Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan's remarks that he was looking forward to the birth of a grandson follwing son Abhishek's wedding.

''We condemn his statement which may give rise to gender discrimination and female foeticide,'' said Sarathi in a release.

His remarks may also add to the problem of already skewed sex ratio in the country.

''We have filed an online petition against Mr Bachchan in this regard. We request all citizens to post their views on this on www.petitiononline.com/sarathi/petition.html,'' the release added.
