Rajesh Exports bags Rs 226cr order from Dubai
New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Rajesh Exports Ltd today said it has bagged an export order worth Rs 226 crore of gold jewellery from Dubai's Radha Krishna Jewellers.
The order has been placed for the new collection of jewellery developed by the R&D wing of the company and has to be completed by December 25, 2006, the company said in statement.
In addition, the company has already set up fourteen retail showrooms 'Laabh' in various cities and plans to expand them to 30 before November 15.
''This move will give us a pan India presence in retail. Laabh Jewellers' has been positioned as a value for money product and design destination for gold jewellery targeting the urban jewellery market of India. The retail foray will be the main driver of profitability we expect a notable addition to our bottom line with this,'' a company spokesperson said.
India is the largest market for gold jewellery in the world with an annual turnover exceeding Rs 85,000 crore.
Rajesh Exports has completed the launch of its showrooms in Rajkot, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Delhi, Jammu, Amritsar, Varanasi, Indore, Ludhiana, Patna, Srinagar, Bhubaneswar and Secunderabad.
Rajesh Exports has also launched its new festive collection in the international market.
