Pune, Nov 3 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many placces in Lakshadweep and at few places in interior Karnataka and at isolated plasces in Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaeema and Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

Heavy rains have occurred at few places in north interior Karnataka and very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Orissa, west Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and coastal Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Lakshadweep and at many places in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar islands and at isolated places in east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa and Madhya Maharashtra.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, and Marathwada.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Telangana and in some parts of Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat north Madhya Maharashtra.

It was above normal in some parts of Orissa, Saurashtra, Kutch, north Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema and north interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Northeast monsoon has been active in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
