Police official suspended, one sent to Lines

Varanasi, Nov 3 (UNI) The administration today suspended a police sub inspector while another officer has been sent to the Lines following a canecharge on agitating BJP workers here.

A senior police official Lalit Kumar Singh said sub inspector Subhash Jayaswal has been placed under suspension with immediate effect while another sub inspector Pradip Yadav has been sent to the Lines and an enquiry has been ordered against inspector M P Tiwari of the Kotwali police station.
