Nepalese Dy. PM to visit India
New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) India and Nepal will hold discussions on strengthening bilateral relations during the official visit of Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli beginning on Sunday.
''This (the visit) will provide an ideal opportunity to review and strengthen bilateral relations,'' an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said today.
This will be the first visit to India by Mr Oli, who is also the Foreign Minister of his country, after Parliament was reinstated and the monarchy was stripped of powers.
Mr Oli will have talks with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Monday.
Later in the day, he will have a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
On November seven, he will address a business meeting hosted by the CII. He will also call on Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, L K Advani.
He will deliver the Dinesh Singh Memorial Lecture at the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA).
On November eight, he will visit Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai and Kolkota.
