Mizo police to use science to detect criminals

Aizawl, Nov 3 (UNI) With an aim to improve the quality of investigation, Mizoram police would embrace science for detection and conviction of criminals.

For this the policemen had orgnasied a seminar on 'scientific aids to investigations', to discuss the subject and elicit experts' opinions.

The speakers emphasised on the need of IT to detect the criminals and urged the policemen to educate themselves in modern technological advancement.

Resource persons comprising high-ranked finger print experts, medicos, legal adviser and others took part in the deliberation.
