Mizo police to embrace science to detect criminals

Aizawl, Nov 3 (UNI) With an aim to improving the quality of investigation, Mizoram police would embrace science for detection and conviction of criminals.

For this the policemen had organsied a seminar on 'scientific aids to investigations', to discuss the subject and elicit experts' opinions.

The speakers emphasised on the need of IT to detect the criminals and urged the policemen to educate themselve in modern technological advancement.

Resource persons comprising high-ranked finger print experts, medicos, legal adviser and others took part in the deliberation.
