Minister heads 7-member team to US from Nov 7

Tirupati, Nov 3: A seven members official team headed by Minister for Higher Education P Venkatesh Rao and State Council for Higher Education Chairman K C Reddy will visit various universities in America from November 7 to November 15, to study the higher education system.

During their visit, the team, including four universities Vice Chancellors of JNTU, Osmania, Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University, would visit Carnegie Meelon Univeristy and other centres to study their system in higher education and policies, SVU sources said here today.

The study would be utilised for upgradation of higher education system, the officials added.
