Lok Sabha session from Nov 22-Dec 19: Secretariat

New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) The winter session of Parliament will be held from November 22 to December 19, it was officially announced today.

''Subject to exigencies of government business, the session is likely to conclude on Tuesday, the 19 December 2006,'' the Lok Sabha Secretariat said in a statement.

A similar press note by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat said the President had summoned the House from November 22.

The winter session would mark the 209th session for the Upper House and the ninth of the 14th Lok Sabha.
