Honour SC direction on BMIC issue, Congress tells K'taka Govt
Bangalore, Nov 3 (UNI) Terming the Supreme Court's dismissal of Karnataka's review petition on the controversial Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project as a slap on the face of the JD(S)-BJP Government in the State, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly N Dharam Singh today urged the Government to extend all cooperation for the early implementation of the project.
Addressing a press conference here, he accused the State Government of putting roadblocks in the implementation of the Rs 2,500 crore BMIC project.
Demanding that the State Government honour the Apex Court's direction, Mr Singh urged the State Government to shun vindictive attitude against the BMIC executor NICE, which had hampered the progress of the mega infrastructure project.
He alleged that due to serious differences between the two coalition partners, all developmental works in the State had been badly effected.
