Govenment asked to file affidavit on faulty kit
Kolkata, Nov 3 (UNI) The Calcutta High Court today asked the West Bengal government to investigate the dud kit scandal and file the report before the court by two weeks.
Expressing concern over the sale of faulty kits, which possibly caused deady diseases to many, the two-judge bench comprising Chief Justice Vikash Sidhar Sirpurkar and Nadira Pathererya said it was unbelievable in a civilised society that such horrible things could happen in a civilised society.
The court passed the direction on a public interest litigation, filed by lawyer Arunava Ghosh.
