Dissidence in DAN on law and order issue
Kohima, Nov 3 (UNI) The Nagaland Peoples' Front (NPF), the major coalition partner of the ruling Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN), has said that five DAN Legislators have 'attempted to weaken the government' following the two-day inter-factional clashes in Zunheboto town.
The NPF alleged that the DAN government has failed to maintain the law and order situation in the state.
In a statement issued by seven NPF office bearers here today, the party wanted the DAN partners to resign because five legislators Hokishe Sema (BJP), Z Obed (NPF), Talinungsang (NPF), K Therie (NPF) and Huska Sumi (JD-U) believe that ''the government have succeeded to quell the worst fratricidal clash''.
Asserting that the people of the state would not fail to see through the ''game'' of the five Legislators of DAN, out of which ''three are avowedly disgruntled members,'' the NPF pointed out that dissent, if any, has to be decently expressed.
