Dengue : Two more deaths, affected figures in Delhi rise to 2,814

New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) With 39 fresh cases reported in last 24 hours, the total number of dengue cases in the Capital has risen to 2,814, according to officials.

Besides, two more deaths have also been confirmed, though none of them were from Delhi. ''They were from the National Capital Region,'' said an official of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

Of the total number of those affected by dengue in the Capital, 1,749 were from Delhi and 1,065 from outside.

At the prestigious All India Medical Institute, where most of the dengue cases have been reported, 22 new patients were admitted today.

However, 33 people were discharged from the hospital.

''Presently total number of those admitted in the hospital is 133,'' said Medical Superintendent (AIIMS) D K Sharma adding that no death was reported in the hopsital in the past 24 hours.
