CNR Rao honoured by The Institute of Physics, London

Bangalore, Nov 3 (UNI) Renowned scientist C N R Rao, National Research Professor and Linus Pauling Research Professor of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, was bestowed with the prestigious Honorary Fellowship by The Institute of Physics, London.

In a release here, the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research said Mr Rao was the first scientist from the country to have been conferred the Honorary Fellowship.

Prof Vitaly Lazarevich Ginzburg, a Nobel Laureate from Russia, was also conferred the honour along with Mr Rao.
