CM urges govt officials to complete projects in time
Agartala, Nov 3 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has urged the government officials to implement the 33-point development programme for the scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and religious minorities within time frame.
The Chief Minister has reviewed the works of various departments under progress at a high level meeting yesterday, in presence of SC Welfare Minister Anil Sarkar, OBC Minister Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha, Minority Welfare Department Minister Fayzur Rehman and Chief Secretary Sashi Prakash.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister said for the development of the backward classes, belonging to SC, OBC and other minority communities, the 33-point special development programmes must be completed within time frame.
Mr Sarkar inquired about the progress of work related to the 33-point welfare programmes, education, agriculture, drinking water, forest, electricity and PWD in the SC, OBC and minority community dominated areas of the state.
The Left Front government's main objective was to turn Tripura into a model state, he remarked.
