China coach Dujkovic names first squad for Asian Games
BEIJING, Nov 3 (Reuters) China's new Olympic coach Ratomir Dujkovic has named a provisional 27-man squad for next month's Asian Games in Doha.
Serbian Dujkovic was appointed coach of the under-23 squad until the 2008 Beijing Games last month and will take charge of the side for the first time in a friendly against Cameroon in Guangzhou on November 11.
The squad will be trimmed after the match, according to a statement released by the Chinese Football Association (CFA).
Three over-age players are also permitted in the squad for the tournament.
China have been drawn in second round Group E with Oman, Malaysia and the winners of first round Group B.
The 15th Asian Games open in Doha, Qatar on December 1.
