Centre to enquire reasons behind depression among soldiers:Jaiswal

Hazaribagh, Nov 3 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Shree Prakash Jaiswal today said the Centre was conducting a psychological survey to find out the reasons behind increasing sucidal incidents among the soldiers.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Jaiswal said the government was trying to find out the root cause of depression to the those incidents.

On the issue of POTA, which was abolished by the UPA government, Mr Jaiswal said the BJP has no right to make it a issue as the attack on Parliament, Lalquila and Akshardham temple occurred during the NDA regime.

Mr Jaiswal said the Congress had checked terrorism before the POTA was formed, adding the UPA government at the Centre had made proper arrangments to control extremism in the country.
