Bangarappa asks K'taka Govt to enact law to nullify SC order
Gulbarga, Nov 3 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party State President S Bangarappa today suggested the government to enact a law nullifying the Supreme Court order, dismissing the State's review petition in the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor case.
Addressing a press conference here, he urged the government to take legal opinion to confiscate the surplus land acquired by NICE to implement BMIC.
Predicting the downfall of the JD(S)-BJP coalition government, Mr Bangarappa said elections of the State Assembly could be held any time as there was no cordial relationship between Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and his Deputy B S Yediyurappa and no coordination between the coalition partners.
He hoped that the SP would emerge as the single largest party and assume power in the State.
