Kerala: All India IT Exhibition from November 30

Kochi, Nov 3: In an effort to provide an IT platform in Kerala, the 4th All India IT Exhibition, IT 2006 Kochi, will start from November 30 here.

Talking to mediapersons here today, Mr D Philip, Director of Indian Computer Education Society (ICES), organisers of the exhibition, said, the four-day event with the motto 'IT for all' would be a perfect platform for the IT industry in the state.

Apart from multi-national companies like Microsoft and Intel, government agency like National Informatics Centre and state government's IT mission would make their presence felt in the exhibition, he added.

The event with 100 stalls would feature demonstration of the latest products and serivce camps of various private companies in the country, Mr Philip noted.

There will also be eight seminars by prominent IT experts in connection with the exhibition.

A seminar on the Micrsoft's latest operating system Windows VISTA would be a higlight of the event, he noted.

A brochure relating to the exhibition was also released by Cochin University Exam Controller Dr S Babu Sundar.

ICES, founded in 1990, started computer institutions in villages to impart IT knowledge to rural people in the country.
